Reading & Writing: a class which teaches basic reading and writing skills designed for children ages 8-11. Students will practice writing, develop phonics-based reading strategies and be encouraged to read daily with support from parents at home. This class is designed for the reluctant reader/writer, who doesn’t yet enjoy reading or writing.
Begins: Mondays, April 14, 2:00-3:00pm, once a week for six weeks.

Teacher: Monica Nudd began teaching in 2005 after completing her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Her passion is developing a love of learning in every child through group projects, hands-on activities, and engaging challenges from a biblical perspective.

Human Body & Health: a class which teaches basic science concepts designed for children ages 6-12. Students will learn biological systems in the body, how to keep our bodies healthy, collaboration with partners, and presentation skills. This is a project-based class where students work together during class time. Students will give presentations on the last day of class.

Chemistry Fun- learn basic science skills designed for children. Students will do hands-on experiment, develop critical thinking, problem solving skills, and build their science vocabulary and knowledge while having fun.
Begins: TBA (Eastern) once a week for six weeks.
Where: TBA for 30 minutes
Materials needed: a list of easy to find supplies will be sent a week in advance, so parents can prepare and students can participate along with the teacher.
Registration: $15, reserves your child’s spot and make the commitment to show up for six weeks. Registration fee is due upon completion of registration form and nonrefundable.
Class Cost: $25 per family, per week. Families will receive the Zoom link for live interactive class with passcode, materials list in advance, printable instructions to do the experiment at home, and an extension opportunity to continue the learning.
